Don’t Forget to Cast Your Vote in the ROC Awards

Voting is now open for one of Rochester’s fastest-growing awards ceremony– the ROC Awards. Cast your votes for your favorite make-up artists, businesses and poets. This year’s voting process is a little simpler. It’s all on Google. Here is what you should know before you vote:

  1. You must have a VALID email address
  2. Every vote is counted- so don’t play games or try to be funny
  3. If you cheat or try to cheat, your votes will be disqualified
  4. You can vote in as many categories as you want
  5. You have until February 15th to cast your vote

This is the 6th year of the ROC Awards. This year’s theme is “6CESS,” a play on the awards show anniversary year. It will be held at Hochstein School of Music and Dance, a venue change from last year’s Kodak on the Ridge. Hochstein is located at 50 N. Plymouth Ave, downtown.

This year continues last year’s addition of Latino businesses and persons of recognition. Last year, Yolanda Smilez, awards show host and CEO, said it’s important to her to recognize the talent here:
